Performing a huge range of modern and classic songs from Nora Jones to AC-DC, Amy Winehouse to Lady Gaga and everything in between. With Claire’s powerful, dynamic vocals and James’s intelligent guitar arrangements and  harmonies it’s hard to believe such a full sound can be produced from just an acoustic guitar, a loop pedal and vocals.

The Sting is dedicated to providing the sounds of The Police whose hits Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Roxanne and So Lonely propelled them into worldwide acclaim. The band also covers many of Sting’s solo hits such as If I Ever Lose My Faith in You, Englishman in New York and If You Love Somebody Set Them Free.

The Sting performs with the same passion and energy that made The Police one of the most successful bands of the late ’70s and ’80s and made Sting an international superstar and one of the most respected song writers and musicians around today.

Performing as The Sting, Justin Lee Jones, James Payze and Tom Moore display all the musical muscle and sheer energy of the original Police during their heyday in the early eighties as well as the sensitivity and depth of Sting’s later recordings. They do justice to the music of The Police and Sting as only top musicians can. Justin Lee Jones is a seasoned performer having written and performed with many original bands as a bassist, vocalist and guitarist. His incredible vocal range, power and sensitivity make him one of  the very few performers capable of emulating the range and musical diversity of Sting. Guitarist James Payze is a professional luthier, respected guitar teacher and successful composer. He has worked with numerous professional bands and composed music for the BBC and Channel 4. His amazing musicality and detailed knowledge of guitars, amps and effects help conjure all the sounds and textures of Andy Summers’ original guitar work. Tom Moore has performed in countless original bands and is an experienced recording artist have had chart success with the band Eskimo Disco. He has all the fluidity and creativity to emulate the remarkable Stewart Copeland. He has performed and toured with many professional bands to great critical acclaim.
